📌About the Event

RECURSIVE – Shift-8 Hackathon 2026 is an 8-hour, in-person hackathon organised at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNIT), Kolkata. It is the first ACM-sponsored hackathon at GNIT and brings together students, developers, designers and problem-solvers to build functional solutions to real-world challenges. Participants will work in teams and move from ideation to development, UI/UX and practical implementation within a single intensive hackathon sprint.
