📌 About the Event ?

The Reginald Gibbons Editor’s Prize is a global search for prose that demonstrates exceptional craft, emotional depth, and structural innovation. This is not a genre specific contest; it welcomes everything from traditional realism to experimental narratives and even excerpts from larger, unpublished works. The Reginald Gibbons Editor’s Prize for Short Fiction awards $1,000 to an author for outstanding contribution to the short fiction form. The winner will be published in a future issue of TriQuarterly. This is a general short fiction contest, so all genres and forms of short fiction are welcome, including excerpts of larger works. Work must be original and unpublished. All entries are considered for regular publication, and TriQuarterly pays honoraria for published work.
