The Regional AI Summit 2.0 Hackathon 2026 is a 36-hour, team-based artificial intelligence competition being organised in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Designed exclusively for college students, the hackathon challenges participants to develop practical AI-powered products across areas such as open-source technology, women’s safety, public services, and startup innovation. It is one of four flagship competitions being conducted as part of Regional AI Summit 2.0 from August 21 to 23, 2026.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Who can participate:
- The hackathon is open only to college students.
- Participants must register as a team.
- Each team must have three to four members.
- Participants from different academic years and branches can be entered in the registration form.
- Every team must provide its team name, college or organisation details, contact information and individual member details.
- The registration form requires the year and academic branch of every participant.
- Participants must carry a valid government-issued identity document and registration confirmation to the venue.

- Participants will receive mentor access throughout the hackathon.
- Selected teams may receive Startup India mentorship and seed-funding guidance.
- Guidance related to the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme and TANSEED may be provided.

- Top performers may receive internship referrals or opportunities with participating companies and AI startups.
- Promising projects may be connected with incubators, investors, angel networks or startup mentors.
