📌About the Event
Samarthya 2026 is a national-level project competition organised by the SKN IEEE Student Branch. The competition encourages students to develop innovative, technically feasible and impactful solutions to real-world problems. Participants can present projects under Women Empowerment or Open Innovation, receive feedback from expert judges and compete for cash prizes and national-level recognition.

- Final presentation mode:
- Offline at SKNCOE, Pune, for teams from Pune
- Online for shortlisted teams located outside Pune
- Final event date: 12 August 2026
- Offline venue: Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Engineering, Pune
- Competition themes:
- Women Empowerment: Technology-based solutions addressing women-centric social challenges
- Open Innovation: Innovative solutions for practical problems from any sector or domain
- Competition structure: Three rounds consisting of a project presentation, prototype video and final jury presentation

- Registration deadline: 8 August 2026
- Round 1 – Project proposal/PPT submission deadline: 10 August 2026
- Round 2 – Prototype video submission: 11 August 2026
- Final project presentation: 12 August 2026
🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Who can participate:
- Students from any recognised college can participate.
- Inter-college teams are permitted.
- A team may consist of one to four members.
- Participants from Pune as well as other cities can apply.
- Teams must select one of the following themes:
- Women Empowerment
- Open Innovation
- Projects may address real-world problems from any technical or innovation-related domain.

- Total official prize pool: ₹10,000
- Winner: ₹5,000 cash prize
- First runner-up: ₹2,500 cash prize
- Second runner-up: ₹1,500 cash prize
- Best Women-Centric Project: ₹1,000 cash prize
