Sapphire Model United Nations (Sapphire MUN) is an elite diplomatic simulation that brings together aspiring young leaders to debate and solve pressing global issues. Now in its Second Edition, the conference is known for its high-caliber academic standards, diverse committee offerings, and its focus on fostering a “Global Citizen” mindset. It provides a platform for students to step into the shoes of diplomats, representing different nations to draft resolutions and negotiate treaties.

🎯 What You Will Do
- Represent a Nation: Defend the foreign policy of your assigned country, even if it conflicts with your personal views.
- Lobbying: Build alliances with other “countries” during unmoderated caucuses to pass your agenda.
- Crisis Simulation: Some committees may feature “Crisis Rounds” where unexpected global events (like a sudden coup or natural disaster) require immediate diplomatic response.
- Drafting Resolutions: Work with a bloc to write legalistic documents that propose solutions to the committee’s agenda.
