The SBI Hackathon at Global Fintech Fest 2026 is an innovation challenge launched by the State Bank of India to discover next-generation banking solutions powered by Agentic AI. Participating fintechs and startups must develop solutions that improve customer acquisition, increase the adoption of digital banking products, and deliver personalised customer engagement. Shortlisted teams will receive mentoring and approximately 30 days to convert their ideas into working prototypes.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

- Technology startups
- AI and emerging-technology startups
- Innovation-focused companies
- Entrepreneurs developing solutions for the financial-services sector
- Applicants should be part of a registered startup or fintech entity.
- Participants must have the technical capability to develop a functional prototype.
- Applications may be submitted individually or as a team.
- Participants must follow the hackathon’s confidentiality, data-privacy and other applicable rules.
- Applicants must initially submit their proposed solution online.
- The top 10 teams will be selected for the prototype-development stage.
- Shortlisted teams will receive approximately 30 days to create a working prototype.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Winner: ₹2,50,000
- First runner-up: ₹1,50,000
- Second runner-up: ₹75,000
- Total cash prize pool: ₹4,75,000
- Prize money will be released in phases based on the completion of specified milestones.
