The SDEF India Scholarship 2026-27 is a merit-cum-means scholarship by the Swami Dayanand Education Foundation for academically deserving and financially constrained students pursuing professional undergraduate courses in India. The scholarship supports eligible first-year students and can be renewed annually based on continued eligibility and academic performance.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

  • Open to first-year professional undergraduate students in India.
  • Minimum 80% in Class XII or equivalent CGPA.
  • Annual family income must be ₹12 lakh or less from all sources.
  • Must meet the applicable entrance-exam requirement, where required:
    • JEE Main: AIR 50,000 or below
    • JEE Advanced: AIR 40,000 or below
    • NEET UG: AIR 50,000 or below
    • NATA: Minimum 100 marks
  • Drop/gap-year students and students already in second year or above are not eligible.
  • Shortlisted students may undergo document verification, assessment and/or interview.
  • Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection.

  • Scholarship of up to ₹50,000 per academic year.
  • Total scholarship support of up to ₹2,00,000 over four academic years.
  • Scholarship can be renewed annually subject to eligibility and academic performance.
  • Financial support for approved educational expenses.
  • Scholarship funds are disbursed directly to the student’s college/university account.
