🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- Students must qualify through Sharda University’s Internal Hackathon before being nominated to SIH 2026.
- Team Size: Exactly 6 students, including the team leader.
- Female Member: At least one female student is compulsory in every team.
- Same Institution: All six team members must belong to the same college/university; inter-college teams are not permitted.
- Software Edition: Teams should have strong programming capabilities.
- Hardware Edition: Multidisciplinary teams involving programmers, engineers, designers and other relevant disciplines are encouraged.
- Idea Limit: A team can submit ideas against a maximum of 2 problem statements.
- Team Name: Must be unique and must not contain the institution’s name.
- Originality: Proposed solutions should be new and should not have previously appeared in another event or programme.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Sharda University’s SIH 2026 microsite highlights ₹1.5 lakh+ prize money in connection with SIH 2026.
- A separate cash prize specifically for winners of the Sharda Internal Hackathon has not been published on the indexed microsite.
- At the national SIH 2026 level, the official prize is ₹1,50,000 per winning team/problem statement.
