📌 About the Event
SIRISH Scholarship 2026–27 is a group of scholarship and financial assistance schemes offered by the Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare, Government of Assam, for eligible students belonging to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi community. The schemes support students across school, undergraduate, professional, technical and higher education levels.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Applicants must be permanent residents of Assam.
- Applicants must belong to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi community.
- Applicants must satisfy the educational and course-specific eligibility requirements of the selected scheme.
- Applicants must have an Aadhaar-seeded scheduled bank account.
- Aadhaar authentication is mandatory during online application.
- Applicants must provide correct personal and bank details.
- An applicant should not submit repeated applications from different Sub-Divisions.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Pre-Matric Scholarship: ₹3,000 per year for eligible Class 9 and 10 students.
- Post-Matric Scholarship: ₹5,000 per year for Class 11 and 12 students.
- Higher Education Assistance: Up to ₹35,000 per year for eligible higher studies.
- Special Post-Matric Scholarship: One-time incentive of ₹10,000 for eligible students.
- Technical & Professional Course Assistance: Financial support for eligible ANM, GNM and technical courses.
