📌 About the Event
SPECATHON 2026 is a flagship 36-hour national-level hackathon organized by the Department of CSE (AI & ML) at St. Peter’s Engineering College, Hyderabad.
The hackathon challenges student teams from across India to select a problem statement, build a fully functional prototype over an intensive 36-hour on-campus period, and defend their design in front of industry mentors and judges.
🗓️ Important Dates & Event Timeline
- July 27, 2026: Registration portal opens and domain selection begins.
- August 20, 2026: Deadline for team registration and project abstract submission (by midnight).
- August 23, 2026: Announcement of shortlisted teams.
- August 31, 2026: Deadline for shortlisted teams to confirm seats and complete fee payment.
- September 11–12, 2026: The 36-Hour Main Hackathon Event (On-Campus).
👥 Eligibility & Team Requirements
- Team Size: 2 to 4 members per team.
- Registration Restriction: Only one entry per team lead email address.
- Eligibility: Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from colleges across all Indian states and Union Territories.
- Abstract Requirement: Submissions must strictly follow the official PPT template provided on the event website; non-compliant abstracts will not be reviewed.
