SUSTAINVERSE 2K26 is a 24-hour innovation and impact hackathon organised by DMI College of Engineering, Chennai. The event invites university students to develop technology-driven solutions for real-world sustainability challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants can explore domains such as AI & ML, Education, Healthcare, Cybersecurity and Open Innovation while collaborating to build impactful solutions for a sustainable future.

- Shortlisting: 30 teams will be selected for the final hackathon

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- Open to university students and undergraduates interested in sustainability, coding, design and problem-solving.
- Cross-college teams are allowed.
- Teams can consist of 1–4 members.
- Round 1 Requirements:
- Submit a preliminary problem statement.
- Provide a one-line proposed solution.
- Explain the solution’s SDG alignment.
- Submit the presentation using the official SUSTAINVERSE 2K26 PPT template.
- Round 1 registration and idea submission are free.
- Important Rule: The problem statement and idea submitted in Round 1 are only for shortlisting. Shortlisted teams can refine, change or select a different idea during the final hackathon.

- Total Prize Pool: ₹22,000
- 1st Prize: ₹10,000
- 2nd Prize: ₹7,000
- 3rd Prize: ₹5,000
- Certificates: Participation certificates will be provided to participants.
- Participants can also gain hands-on experience in innovation, prototyping, sustainability-focused problem-solving and collaborative development.
