📌About the Event

SUSTAINVERSE 2K26 is a 24-hour innovation and impact hackathon organised by DMI College of Engineering, Chennai. The event invites university students to develop technology-driven solutions for real-world sustainability challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants can explore domains such as AI & ML, Education, Healthcare, Cybersecurity and Open Innovation while collaborating to build impactful solutions for a sustainable future.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Open to university students and undergraduates interested in sustainability, coding, design and problem-solving.
• Cross-college teams are allowed.
• Teams can consist of 1–4 members.
• Round 1 Requirements:
• Submit a preliminary problem statement.
• Provide a one-line proposed solution.
• Explain the solution’s SDG alignment.
• Submit the presentation using the official SUSTAINVERSE 2K26 PPT template.
• Round 1 registration and idea submission are free.
• Important Rule: The problem statement and idea submitted in Round 1 are only for shortlisting. Shortlisted teams can refine, change or select a different idea during the final hackathon.
