SYNOFURA’26 – International Student Symposium on Humanizing Technology 2026 is an online paper presentation competition organised by the Department of Biomedical Engineering and BMEDEERS Association of E.G.S. Pillay Engineering College. The symposium gives students and aspiring researchers a platform to present innovative ideas, research and emerging concepts in Biomedical Engineering and allied fields, with a focus on responsible and impactful technology.

- Participants can submit research under one of four symposium tracks:
- AI, ML & Digital Healthcare
- Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering
- Neuroengineering & Rehabilitation
- Emerging Innovations in Biomedical Engineering
- Round 1 – Abstract/Paper Submission: Participants submit an original paper or abstract under one of the symposium tracks.
- Round 2 – Online Presentation: Shortlisted participants present their work before a jury for 5–7 minutes and may use PPTs, research findings, simulations, prototypes or software demonstrations.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Eligible categories include engineering, management, arts, commerce, sciences, law and medical students.
- Teams can consist of 1–2 members.
- Each team can submit only one idea/research work.
- Submissions must be original.
- The paper/abstract should cover the problem, proposed solution or research, methodology, innovation, results or expected outcomes, applications and future scope.
- AI tools may be used during development, but participants will be assessed on their originality and clarity of thought.
