📌About the Event
TEJAS 2026 – AI Innovation Challenge, Hackathon & Codethon is a two-day, intra-institutional technology competition organized by the Department of Training and Placement and ASCEND at SASTRA Deemed University, in association with Temenos India Pvt. Ltd. under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The event encourages students to develop innovative, AI-powered solutions addressing real-world problems. With the theme “AI Beyond Boundaries: Innovating for a Smarter, Inclusive and Sustainable Future,” TEJAS 2026 promotes creativity, technical skills, collaboration and sustainable innovation. The competition takes place on October 22–23, 2026, at SASTRA University, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- Open to eligible students of SASTRA Deemed University.
- Eligible academic categories include:
- 2nd and 3rd-year B.Tech students.
- 1st-year M.Tech students.
- 1st-year MCA students.
- 1st-year M.Sc Data Science students.
- Participation is intra-institutional; students from other universities are not included in the announced eligibility.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- 1st Prize: ₹25,000 cash prize.
- 2nd Prize: ₹15,000 cash prize.
- 3rd Prize: ₹10,000 cash prize.
- Total Prize Pool: ₹50,000.
