The Rookies Awards 2026 is a global creative competition for emerging artists, designers, animators, VFX artists, game developers, and digital creators. It gives students, recent graduates, self-taught artists, and hobbyists a chance to showcase their portfolio, get reviewed by industry professionals, win creative tools/career opportunities, and get noticed by top studios worldwide.

- Mode of conduct: Online submission-based competition
- Official registration/submission: Entries must be submitted through the official Rookie Awards 2026 category page; projects uploaded only to the normal “Projects” section will not be counted as official entries.
- Major domains covered: 2D Animation, 3D Animation, Concept Art, Game Development, Visual Effects, Architectural Visualisation, Motion Graphics, Immersive Media, Product & Industrial Design, Web & App Design, Graphic Design, and Digital Fashion.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Minimum age: Participants must be 18 years or older.
- Experience limit: Entrants must have no more than 1 year of professional industry experience in the contest fields by 22 June 2026.
- Internships/work experience: Internships and general work experience do not count toward the professional experience limit.
- Who can participate: The competition is suitable for students, recent graduates, self-taught artists, and hobbyists.
