The 1st National Trial Advocacy Competition 2026, organised by Think India in collaboration with National Law University Delhi, is a national-level legal competition designed to provide law students with practical courtroom experience. Participants will work on a criminal law proposition and demonstrate their legal research, argumentation, witness examination and trial strategy skills in a simulated courtroom environment.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibility :
  • The competition is open to students pursuing a three-year LL.B. programme.
  • Students pursuing a five-year integrated LL.B. programme are also eligible.
  • Participants must represent a recognised university, institution or law college.
  • Each team must consist of:
  • Two speakers
  • Two researchers-cum-witnesses
  • Teams must complete the registration and fee-payment process within the prescribed deadlines.
