📌About the Event
UDAAN 2.0 2026 is a national-level prototype and business model competition organised by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata. Undergraduate and postgraduate students can showcase original prototypes, startup ideas and scalable business models addressing real-world problems across seven SDG-linked themes. Up to 50 teams will be shortlisted for the offline finale, with a total prize pool of ₹80,000.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students across India.
- Cross-institution teams are allowed.
- Each team can have up to 3 student members and an optional mentor.
- Teams must submit an idea/prototype aligned with one of the specified themes.
- Only original and previously unpublished prototypes are permitted; plagiarism leads to disqualification.
- Applications will be screened and up to 50 teams shortlisted for the final event.
- Shortlisted teams will present their prototype/business model at the offline finale before the jury.
- The jury’s decision is final and binding.
- The organisers have not published a detailed criterion-wise scoring breakdown.
