📌 About the Event
VNR Designathon 2026 is the 4th edition of a flagship 24 hour design and innovation hackathon hosted by the Departments of CSE and CSBS at Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNRVJIET), Hyderabad. The event brings together students from across India to solve real-world design challenges using design thinking methodologies and technology tools. Guided by industry experts, participants tackle structured design prompts covering UX design, product design, and creative technology solutions. The 4th edition continues the tradition of fostering cross disciplinary collaboration between designers, engineers, and product thinkers. Registration is currently live and teams are encouraged to sign up immediately.
ℹ️ Event Details
- Category: Design Hackathon, UX Design, Product Design, Design Thinking, Tech Innovation
- Eligibility: Open to students from all colleges across India. Any year and any branch. Design, engineering, and cross domain teams are all welcome. No prior design experience is mandatory but beneficial.
- Effort Level: High. 24 continuous hours of design ideation, prototyping, and presentation on campus. Requires understanding of design thinking frameworks and at least basic design or prototyping tool skills.
- Selection Process: Live design prototype or wireframe presentation and demo to judges at VNRVJIET campus at end of 24 hour sprint.
