📌About the Event

The World Ozone Day 2026 National Level Poster Making & Slogan Writing Competition is being organised by the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) in collaboration with the Ozone Cell, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Government of India. The online competition is open to school students from Classes 8 to 12 and aims to build awareness about ozone-layer protection, climate-friendly lifestyles and environmental conservation. Entries open on 15 August 2026 and close on 31 August 2026 at 5:00 PM. Winners will be recognised during the 32nd World Ozone Day function on 16 September 2026.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Students studying in Classes 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 can participate.
• Students can submit only one entry in each competition category.
• Entries must be original work.
• Poster entries must be prepared on a 22 × 13-inch drawing sheet.
• Slogans can be written in English or Hindi only.
• Participants must provide details including their name, class, school name, postal address, mobile number and email ID.
• A school recommendation certified by the Principal, Vice-Principal, Headmaster or Headmistress must also be uploaded.
• Entries have to be submitted digitally in the required image/PDF formats. The official notice specifies JPEG and PDF versions, with files below the prescribed size limit.
