WriteToWin 2026
The Better Human
📌 About the Event
WriteToWin 2026 is India’s largest, most rewarding, and completely free quarterly environmental article writing competition designed specifically for school students. Organized by The Better Human Life Foundation (founded by Saket Sambhav), this independent educational movement is engineered to turn climate anxiety into constructive, evidence-based youth advocacy.
By offering large cash incentives and removing entry fees entirely, the platform prompts students to deeply research local and global sustainability issues, transforming abstract numbers into deep-rooted personal conviction.
📅 Critical Timelines (Monsoon 2026 Cycle)
The competition runs in four separate quarterly cycles per year. The milestones for the active Monsoon Season are:
- Submissions Open: July 1, 2026
- Submission Deadline: September 30, 2026
- Expert Evaluation Window: October 1 – October 31, 2026
- Results & Awards Proclamation: November 1, 2026
🎛️ Target Demographic Categories
The competition segments entries into three clear scholastic age groups to ensure balanced, age-appropriate assessment:
- Juniors: Enrolled students in Classes 6–8
- Seniors: Enrolled students in Classes 9–10
- Super-Seniors: Enrolled students in Classes 11–12
📜 Strict Submission Guidelines & Rules
To prevent disqualification at the initial administrative screening gate, all student essays must adhere to these structural policies:
- Core Theme Alignment: Content must focus entirely on Environment & Climate Change. Participants have complete creative freedom to select their specific micro-topic (e.g., electronic scrap, biodiversity, carbon tracking, or local water ecosystems).
- Word Count Threshold: Articles must strictly range between 250 words and 2,500 words.
- Language Requirement: All drafts must be written in English.
- The Blind Judging Rule (Absolute Anonymity): No personal identifying details (such as student name, contact info, or school name) may appear inside the uploaded document file itself.
- Submission Path: Entries must be processed strictly via the official competition Google Form. Submissions via Email or WhatsApp will be automatically rejected.
- Originality & Generative AI Policy: The submission must be the participant’s original, unpublished work. Plagiarism triggers immediate disqualification. While Generative AI tools are permitted for structural assistance (e.g., checking grammar syntax or brainstorming concepts), using AI to entirely write or substitute original content is strictly prohibited.
