Job Description:Work on General Ledger, Balance Sheet reconciliation including bank reconciliation statements, Payroll accounting for US companiesConduct daily Huddle for the TeamPerform advanced reconciliations / prepare monthly deliverables to the Management group for various financial reportsMonthly financial submissions to ClientsComplete all assigned jobs as per committed time, in an accurate and client specific mannerUpdate Work allocation matrix on completion of tasks on hand to measure performance / prepare monthly KPI metricsEscalate matter to the next level of Management for pending issuesAdhere to information security and control proceduresRectifying the mistakes pertaining to reversals and re-entriesGL Reconciliation on all Balance Sheet Items on a timely manner as per the agreed SLAReview of Financial Statements (Trial Balance, P &L, Balance Sheet)Variance AnalysisSubmission of Financial Statement to Financial ControllersTake a lead role in managing projects as assigned by the Manager- OperationsAssist Client in resolving Audit Queries during quarter and year end closingResearch accounting discrepancies and irregularities and co-ordinate with client to get resolutionContinually documenting and maintaining procedures
Knowledge & Skills Required:Ability to lead and develop a team of 5 or more peopleRelevant experience as a Team leader of financial accountants or similarSelf-starter who is able to navigate without ambiguityAbility to quickly interpret and evaluate the accuracy of data and informationPrioritize workload and handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlinesStrong knowledge of accounting principlesKnowledge and experience of accounting SoftwarePreferred experience / working knowledge in Oracle / M3 / YardiStrong verbal and written communication skillsSolves business problems using own initiative, within parameters of own roleExcellent computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel essentialWillingness and ability to put forward a convincing point of view within the parameter of own job7 to 10 Years of Experience in Finance and Accounting
