After you find an internship of your choice, click on "View Details" to get details about the company and the internship. Go through the details thoroughly and apply for the internship if your profile matches the requirements of the company. Click on "Apply Now" and follow the mentioned steps to submit your application. All the best!
In general, employers take about 2-3 weeks to process the applications and get back to you. If an employer likes your application, he/she will contact you.
Pro Tip: Internships are a competition, many students like you are applying for the same position. Please ensure that you apply to multiple internships (relevant to you) to increase your chances of landing an internship.
The 'shortlisted' application status means that the employer is interested in your application and may get in touch with you after a detailed review. You may have to wait for a few days for the employer to contact you with further details.
Pro tip: In case you do not hear from the employer within 7 days of getting shortlisted, we suggest you to apply for other internships to improve your chances of landing an internship.
Wish you good luck!
Internshala issues a certificate of merit to students who are hired for an internship. The certificate becomes available 7 days after the status is changed to 'Hired'. It can be downloaded from your Internshala dashboard.
In case you are selected for an internship but the status of your application is not changed to 'Hired', please ask your employer to update it. Else, forward us the offer letter given by the employer and we will update your status to 'Hired'.
Here’s how the process of online NOC works:
  1. The moment you are hired for an internship, you will receive an email to fill in the details of your Training and Placement Head (T&P)/Faculty-in-charge details online.
  2. After you fill the information, we will send an email with No Objection Certificate request to your Training and Placement Head (T&P)/Faculty-in-charge.
  3. Once he/she approves it, you and your employer will receive an email confirming the approval.
Send us an email at student@internshala.com. We will withdraw the previous NOC request and send you a new email with a link. Follow the NOC procedure (Refer question no. 8) to send a fresh No Objection Certificate request.
