As a Meitei (Manipuri) translator, you'll be responsible for translating diverse content from English or other languages into Meitei using the Meitei script. Your role is crucial in ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate translations for Meitei-speaking audiences.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Translate various documents into Meitei (Manipuri), such as literature, legal texts, and online content
2. Maintain consistency in translations
3. Conduct research when necessary for accuracy
4. Collaborate with team members to enhance translation quality
5. Adhere to deadlines while delivering high-quality translations
6. Stay updated with language developments and trends
Requirements:
1. Proficiency in the Meitei language
2. Proficiency in the Meitei script
3. Strong command of English or other source languages
4. Previous experience in translation is preferred
5. Attention to detail and accuracy
6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
