2. Transport Arrangements: Plan and organize the most efficient and cost-effective transport method for each delivery
3. Point of Contact (POC): Establish and maintain effective communication channels with the transport team, clients, and vendors
4. Time-Bound Delivery: Implement and maintain delivery schedules to ensure on-time deliveries to clients
5. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of goods before dispatch to ensure they meet quality standards
6. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to deliveries promptly
7. Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot any delivery-related challenges, taking appropriate actions to resolve them efficiently
8. Delivery Confirmation: Follow up with clients after each delivery to confirm the successful receipt of goods
9. Continuous Improvement: Participate in process reviews to suggest and implement improvements in the delivery process
10. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation related to each delivery, including receipts, invoices, and delivery notes
Skills and qualifications :
1. Graduation in marketing, sales, business administration, engineering, or supply chain management
2. Proficiency in using delivery management software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant tools
3. Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, including transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with vendors, transport teams, clients, and internal stakeholders
5. Customer-centric approach with a focus on providing exceptional service to clients, responding to inquiries, and addressing concerns
6. Proficiency in negotiating with transport partners to secure cost-effective and reliable delivery services
7. Proficiency in the Kannada language is a must
