Role Overview: As the Marketing and Communications Manager at The PRIDE India, you will be instrumental in elevating the visibility and impact of The PRIDE India's initiatives, driving engagement, fostering strategic partnerships, and ultimately contributing to positive social change in marginalized communities. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead in developing compelling content, coordinating events, managing media relations, driving digital marketing initiatives, and fostering strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy aligned with organizational goals.
2. Oversee all communication efforts to ensure consistency and effectiveness across various platforms.
3. Content Development and Outreach:
4. Collaborate with program staff to identify compelling stories and content related to our thematic areas.
5. Create and disseminate promotional materials, including brochures, newsletters, website content, and social media posts.
6. Support the coordination of events such as health camps, educational workshops, and fundraising campaigns.
7. Develop creative materials and messaging to promote events and engage stakeholders.
8. Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets to increase visibility and coverage of The PRIDE India's initiatives.
9. Draft press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials as needed.
10. Digital Marketing and Social Media Management:
11. Manage The PRIDE India's social media accounts and online presence to drive engagement and increase awareness.
12. Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to reach target audiences effectively.
13. Identify potential partners and collaborators in the public, private, and non-profit sectors to support our programs and initiatives.
14. Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and other stakeholders to enhance visibility and resource mobilization efforts.
15. Track and analyze the performance of marketing and communication activities against predefined metrics and targets.
16. Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and improve effectiveness over time.
17. Undertake additional duties as directed by the Reporting Manager, ensuring alignment with the organizational objectives and vision, thereby contributing to the overall mission of the company.
