Mechanical Design Engineer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Design and develop new and exciting DIY and robotics kits, including mechanical components, assemblies, and user interfaces.
2. Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing.
Implement Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (G&T) principles to ensure accurate and consistent parts fabrication.
3. Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze designs for functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
4. Conduct design reviews and participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative solutions.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the DIY and robotics space.
6. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including assembly instructions and user manuals.
