Anant National University, India's first design university, was established as a private university in 2016 by an act of the legislature of the State of Gujarat. Located in a 100-acre, lush-green campus in Ahmedabad, Anant was established to nurture solutionaries, people who are revolutionary in their thinking, but solution-oriented in their approach. The university is committed to changing the discourse in design education by making it multidisciplinary, industry-relevant, and with a focus on sustainability and design thinking. We firmly believe that designers can work across sectors and find creative solutions to some of the most critical problems of today. Currently, Anant offers full-time programs at the bachelor's and master's levels.
