About Awareness

Actively working to apprise responsibilities, educate & nurture everyone towards safety & security is an NGO based in The Nilgiris and soon expanding its horizons in major cities all over India. Incorporated in June 2016, Awareness is actively working in the areas of education, human welfare, sanitation, earth rejuvenation, and road safety. Founded by our visionary L Krishnan, who served our nation in the army, sustained major injuries during the Indo-Pak war, stepped out of the army and pursued law, became an advocate, later he dedicated himself to serve the society for its wellbeing. The ultimate aim of Awareness is societal development through self-sufficiency of all the basic requirements of the society. Awareness comprises professionals from various walks of life that includes, including social workers, IT professionals, educators, students as well as volunteers who are working with the sole aim to fulfill the NGO's vision.
