Civil Engineering Association(CEA) is a student-run organization at IIT Madras that bridges the gap between students' academic and practical learning. With both students and faculty as its members, the organization is one of the most active Civil Engineering Associations in India. The CEA prides itself on the lively interaction between the students and faculty. The CEA activities of a year culminate in the CEA Fest. CEA Fest is the annual technical festival of the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras. The festival attracts people from all over India. It is one of the most prestigious departmental fests in the country. CEA Fest has grown in leaps and bounds over the years. It is a student contest that tests the knowledge and practicality of young potential civil engineers in our country. The CEA Fest provides a platform for the students of all the colleges to visit IIT Madras and work at the state of art laboratories present there.
