Founded by Mr. Jaidayal Dalmia in 1939, Dalmia Cement is one of India’s pioneering homegrown cement companies. Headquartered in New Delhi, it operates as Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat Ltd, and is listed on the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange. With a manufacturing capacity of 37 MnT per annum (MTPA) across 14 cement plants and grinding units in 10 states, the company serves more than 22 states through a vast network of over 33,000 dealers and sub-dealers. Committed to expansion, Dalmia Cement has leveraged both acquisitions and greenfield developments to scale its business and enter new geographies. Notably, it is the only cement company with at least one plant in each of the four key eastern states- West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha.
