DesertHippee is born from this enriching experience of years of LIVING in the magical and mystical great Indian Thar desert. This place was once a prominent part of the silk route which existed between 2nd century B.C. all the way up to 14th Century A.D. traders, artists, craftsmen, and merchants from China, Middle East, Persia, Turkey, Greece, Egypt, Italy, and Rome took shelter here during their long journey. Our handpicked products are heavily influenced by the silk route history. made by local artisans, whose skillful hands create distinctive pieces from recycled traditional textile and fashion-forward silhouettes. These clothes were extremely popular among world travelers in the 60's and 70's during the flower power movement. In our efforts to bring love peace and joy back to the world, we present to you the DesertHippee collection.
