Development 2050
Overview
About Development 2050
Development 2050 is an initiative to work on impact-based urban scale projects for sustainable development in a way to make our cities resilient to the challenges of climate change. We are working through a multi-dimensional approach and currently, we're exploring the subject of waterbodies' restoration from the perspective of architecture, engineering, planning, management, and public policy. We have completed a feasibility study of 76 waterbodies in Faridabad, completed a detailed project report (DPR) of 19 waterbodies, completed DPR of natural drain restoration in Sonipat, and completed a project evaluation study of 7 waterbodies restored in Greater Noida. We were also shortlisted as finalists in 3 international competitions by submitting our project ideas related to parking rainwater harvesting systems, slum parks for children, and eco-connection spots around mining lakes in the Aravali forest of Delhi NCR.
