About Dharma Life

Dharma Life is an early-stage social enterprise that works towards bringing inclusive growth to communities living in rural India through the creation of livelihoods in rural areas and building a market for social impact products that improve the quality of life. We work primarily on six cause areas - access to clean energy, access to clean drinking water, indoor air pollution, nutrition, health and hygiene, and livelihood and lifestyle. As of June 2014, Dharma Life has impacted over 1 million lives - with a network of more than 2000 village entrepreneurs operating across five states in India (Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Karnataka, and Rajasthan). Dharma Life has developed as a professional organization making it the rural distribution partner of choice for many organizations such as Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Bata, and Singer among others.
