Every 8 minutes, a woman loses her life due to preventable causes. They include unintended pregnancy and the high prevalence of HIV and other STIs. We at Femacare (Research Partner: Nanobios Lab, IIT-B) are a DPPI-recognized and government-backed startup developing a novel 4th generation contraceptive device that will not only act as a contraceptive but also prevent HIV and other STI's. We have been selected among the world's top med-tech startups for the prototype development of a medical device based on Ayurveda and multiple prevention technologies. Our startup is working in close collaboration with IKP-EDEN and IIT-Bombay (a research partner) to solve the prevalent reproductive health care challenges.
