About Going To School

Going To School is a creative not-for-profit education trust that creates design-driven stories to teach the poorest young people in India some entrepreneurial skills at school. We believe in the power of stories to change the way millions of children see their lives and opportunities. We're made in India. Established in 2003, we've been working in 1,500 secondary government schools in Bihar teaching 150,000 children entrepreneurial skills at school through stories. Going To School stories are books, movies, radio, games, apps, and national television shows. We create factually researched, design-driven stories, radio shows, and movies to teach young people entrepreneurial skills. Our stories equip young people with the skills they need to identify problems around them and solve them by starting a business.
