ITIHASIKALA was founded in 2020 with the aim to make meaningful and personalized handmade products by also creating a positive impact on the society and environment. We are here to serve you a unique version of the almost extinct hand crochet technique. Women at Itihasikala are taught, trained, and skilled to make handcrafted products like bags, mufflers, garments, coasters, and baskets from ecologically safe raw materials such as jute, cotton, paper, and textile waste by using various crochet and hand-knitting techniques. More than 100 women have become a part of our organization since September 2020. They are now not only self-reliant but also independent and are using their skills to live a better life. We are the women of Ballabhgarh, a town in Faridabad.
