About Japnit Ahuja
Japnit founded Go Girl when she was 16 to empower underprivileged students, introducing over 2000 girls to programming in India. Japnit has also delivered two TEDx Talks at prestigious institutions in India and Singapore, spoken at CAN-CWIC in Toronto (one of Canada's largest women in tech conferences), and the NASA Space Apps Challenge in Canada. Her organisation has a robust online presence of 60k followers and reach of millions. Japnit's academic journey began with a scholarship from the Singapore Government for high school where she published a paper in machine learning, winning national level accolades. She was then awarded a fully funded scholarship at Ontario Tech University, Canada. Her exceptional contributions to technology earned her awards and scholarships from Adobe, Cadence, and Zonta. Japnit has gained industry experience working at TELUS and Coursera, and currently, she leads the startup MAE as a CTO, working towards making car buying more inclusive for women.
