Leather Sector Skill Council (LSSC), is promoted by NSDC under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) with an aim to focus on establishing an effective and efficient eco-system for development and imparting of skills for leather related industries, thereby enhancing the employability of the Indian workforce. LSSC aims to facilitate a skilled ecosystem in the leather industry through capacity building for high productivity and compliance with global standards.
