Life Link Eco Technologies Private Limited is a for-profit green social business an initiative founded in 2001 by Dr. Biplab Pattanaik, the alumnus of IIT Bombay. It owes its seed knowledge capital to IIT Bombay and it heralded a new era of commercialization of technology developed at IIT Bombay. It is also one of the earliest technology company which made a pioneering contribution to ecological engineering in India. The maiden offering includes commercialization of 2 US and 2 Indian patents on organic waste processing and soil health conditioner now variably known as soil biotechnology. The technology is deployed for waste management and solutions related to environmental challenges based on principles of ecology aimed at delivering a solution to rural, urban & industrial waste recycling, sanitation, and potable water quality improvement.
