Maharani Janki Kuwar College (MJK College), Bettiah was established in 1955, in the name of Bettiah Mahavidyalaya. M.J.K. College is a constituent unit of B. R. Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. MJK college is situated in the heart of Bettiah town (West Champaran), in Bihar. Maharani Janki Kunwar college is the name of Late Maharani Janki Kunwar of Bettiah Raj. M.J.K. College is one of the oldest colleges in North Bihar.
