MECHANICA has embodied the flavor and experience of mechanical engineering at IIT Madras for many years. The fest started as a humble attempt to strengthen the foundations of students of mechanical engineering and pave a way for them to understand theory in the context of real life through a variety of contests and events. Events catering to every imaginable field of mechanical engineering ranging from IC engines to robotics are an integral part of Mechanica with attractive prizes and incentives to be won.
