About MILVEST

MILVEST stands for Military Veterans Skilling for Transformation and is a social upskilling initiative driven by the Sambhav Kadam Foundation to enable and empower the families of Indian Armed Forces and ex-servicemen. In a path-breaking innovation, MILVEST launched Project-Deepak in 2024 to bring thousands of military families across the country under the common classroom framework and large program framework, offering industry-relevant skills through the most reputed institutes at near-free costs. Its flagship program, "Management Essentials," in collaboration with IIM Shillong, certified 1,100+ military families in 2024. Multiple other institutes and business consultancy firms collaborate with MILVEST to co-create customized skilling programs for soldiers and their families.
