About Occipital Tech

Time-consuming, labor-intensive and inefficient processes used for grading and sorting of agricultural products lead to food loss. A lot of food is wasted due to slow post-harvest processing and price determination processes. Labour intensive activities also add to the final cost of the commodity leading to low returns for the farmers. We are working on automated grading and sorting of fruits and vegetables using computer vision to solve this and to contribute to the Indian agriculture industry. We are a 2-year-old agri-tech startup based out of Navi Mumbai. We were one of the finalists in the agriculture grand challenge organized by the ministry of agriculture along with startup India. We are incubated and accelerated by - NASSCOM 10000 startups program, Centre for Incubation and Business Acceleration (CIBA), Gastrotope, Bosch's DNA program, and supported by - NVIDIA Inception program, SOLIDWORKS startup program, and Autodesk Entrepreneur Impact Program.
