Omspace Rocket and Exploration was incorporated as a private limited company in June 2020. The company aspires to design and manufacture a reusable and cost-affordable rocket capable of launching nano and small satellites into orbit. The rocket is named Infinity-One. The company has collaborated with international companies starting with Prometheus, a UK-based company in October 2020. The company has also partnered with several organizations & institutes within India during the pandemic. They are building a reusable electric rocket to carry a payload into lower Earth orbit by adopting advanced technologies like advanced material composite, metal 3D printing, cryogenic engine, nano avionics, and more. Currently, the company is on its way to designing and testing its own rocket engine, which will be India's first electric-pump-fed engine. It is expected to be completed very soon.
