About Oorna Permaculture Farm

Oorna farm is a working permaculture farm, where we have adapted sustainable practices like earth building, regenerative agriculture, seed saving, foraging wild edible greens etc.. to build a healthy alternative where we strive to live sustainably and responsibly. Our vision is to make this community space self-sustaining and resilient in all aspects. Integration is an important element for us. We here work with our village women empowering them by training them with essential life skills like sewing, recycling, crafts etc.. which gives them confidence and financial stability. We also took the initiative to help the village kids with their education who are unable to afford it in this pandemic times.
