About Prateek Raina
Prateek Raina is an award-winning screenwriter who started his journey in 2014 with Star Plus on a detective show. He soon left TV to work with multiple production houses, developing projects for the OTT space, and in 2018 wrote the pilot of BHAK', a dramedy, winning the 1st Filmmakers Guild organized by HOOQ beating 500 other submissions across Asia. The pilot also won the GRAND JURY PRIZE at the Rhode Island International Film Festival (An Oscar & BAFTA qualifying festival). HOOQ subsequently commissioned the first season which was featured on Hotstar. Since then, Prateek has collaborated with industry veterans like screenwriter Ritesh Shah and mythology writer Devdutt Pattanaik on multiple projects (in development). Most recently, he scripted a YA one location mystery for Amazon Mini-Tv; was the Head-Writer and Associate Director of the 2nd season of DUDE, a detective drama; and wrote the story for 'Murder Meri Jaan', a pulpy police detective show on Hotstar.
