At Samodhan, our mission is to empower members of low, and middle-income households, to build a financial safety net, and boost their credit score by leveraging their trusted network of friends and family. We are building an app for people to pool money with friends and family to build a communal emergency fund. This money is accessible to all participants in their time of need and can be withdrawn by any member through an approval process by others. The withdrawn funds act as zero-interest loans (if you withdraw more than your contribution) and repaying them will boost your credit score, unlocking access to capital that is currently inaccessible.
