Revolutionizing the Industry: Bringing High-Quality Rugs to the Masses In the early 90s, generations of our family learned the art of craftsmanship, and in the 1960s, refugees from Tibet brought with them the culture of Tibetan weaved rugs to Nepal. In 1972-75, Seraj Carpets started exporting from Nepal, bringing high-quality rugs to the masses. The Birth of Seraj Rugs: A Company That Changed the Game Forever It was during this time that the foundation of Seraj Rugs was laid. We became pioneers of Tibetan weave carpets in India, leading the industry in quality, on-time delivery, and direct work with companies, cutting out the middleman.
