About Shiksharth

Shiksharth, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to co-creating positive childhood experiences for children residing in conflict-affected and adverse geographic regions, particularly focusing on the Aspirational districts of Bastar region in Chhattisgarh. At Shiksharth, our vision is to ensure positive childhood experiences for every child, irrespective of the adversities they face, with a core belief that every child deserves compassion, peace, and quality education. Since inception in 2015, we have been diligently working towards this vision, with a strong emphasis on contextual learning opportunities, well-being, community participation, and system support. past nine years, our efforts have been impactful, serving 50000 children in the region, 500+ schools, and 300 teachers in the region. We've contributed to reopening 97 destroyed schools, facilitating the return of 6,000 out-of-school children to formal education,and witnessing a remarkable 90% growth in learning outcomes .
