Soaring Sparrows Foundation is an upcoming not-for-profit company with a goal to foster grassroots engagement for environment conservation & management in India by adopting a holistic One Health approach. The term environment includes natural life as well as traditional arts, cultures & knowledge. One of the main aims is to develop, promote & conserve traditional knowledge, arts & cultures through indigenous tourism development, and empower youth & public through skill development & education. For this vision to take flight, the company has created a wing: P.E.R.C.H (Platform to Empower Rural Communities via Homestays) This wing will develop an online all-India rural tourism platform to weave environmental conservation into mainstream tourism & catalyze the preservation of the rich biodiversity, and historical, social, cultural, religious, spiritual as well as ecological traditions of India.
