Sweeten is a free service that matches people with major renovation projects to the best general contractors, offering personal support until the job is done. Trained architect Jean Brownhill founded Sweeten (as in -home, sweet home-) in 2011 after a maddening attempt at renovating her own Brooklyn townhouse. Contractors in the network must meet a high standard and are accountable to get the work done right. Today, we have more than $1 billion of construction in the pipeline for residential and commercial projects, and we share educational content as well as real-life renovation stories.
